SNA’s 2014 School Nutrition Industry Conference (SNIC, formerly Child Nutrition Industry Conference) brings attendees the most current concepts and best-practice solutions to help them achieve school nutrition excellence.
To run a successful school nutrition program, an understanding of three key areas — the customer, the product and marketing — is needed. Each day of SNIC is devoted to one of these topics, so attendees have the time to understand the full breadth of each component. The next day then builds upon the previous, as the three focus areas are intertwined and vital to a program as a whole. Including an overall conference facilitator, Douglas M. McCabe, SNIC will feature a full panel of speakers, who will offer their wisdom and expertise in these three areas of focus.
Each general session will feature a facilitated discussion, encouraging audience participation in the key topics of the day that affect the school nutrition profession. The final session also will offer an overview of the conference as a whole from McCabe to ensure that attendees understand the key takeaways and return to their districts equipped to support their school nutrition programs.
