The Tasting Zone: “Wine of Origin”
 
In cooperation with the trade journal “WEINWIRTSCHAFT”, the  focus will be on the profiled wines of origin at the ProWein tasting  zone this year. White, red and rosé wines will be presented, which  are selected according to strict conditions:  Clearly defined concept of origin or traditional wine profile  of the region – naming of wine according to area of origin,  region, geographical position or location – each smaller than the  member state. Wines owe their quality and character to the geographical  and climatic as well as natural and human influences at the location. Origin of grapes must be exclusively from the relevant location. Production takes place in the relevant country of origin

Ecological and organic wines
 
Special show “Wine’s best friends” 
 
Sustainability and ecological viticulture are the global trend.  From the international organic wine tasting of the trade journal  “WEINWIRTSCHAFT”, a selection of international top wines will  be presented in the special show “Ecological and Organic Wines”.  Furthermore, for the first time, international exhibitors will compactly present organic wines in one location.  To find the right speciality to go with wine is not very easy. In  cooperation with the magazine “Der Feinschmecker”, selected suppliers offer delicacies which increase the enjoyment of wines  and spirits even more. Let the many new taste impressions melt  in your mouth

How beer brands are using social media to connect with consumers

Social media has become a buzzword for not just American consumers but also the business environment. Companies are turning to various social media channels to create brand awareness or possibly boost retail sales. Beer brands also are turning to social media to make their stories heard. Brand Chorus, a division of New York-based TippingGardner, conducted a Beer StoryScore Index for Beverage Industry. StoryScore is a quantitative measure of a brand’s storytelling through social management based on creativity, strategy and personality.
