Kansas City, Mo.-based Boulevard Brewing Co. announced that Belgium-based Duvel Moortgat has acquired the craft brewery.

Fort Collins, Colo.-based New Belgium Brewing signed deals with nine wholesale partners to distribute its beer in Ohio starting Dec. 16. New Belgium’s 22-ounce Fat Tire, Ranger India Pale Ale (IPA), seasonal release Accumulation White IPA and Lips of Faith beers will be available throughout the state as a result of the new partnerships. Some draught offerings might come online in the initial rollout as well.

As a result of the Mexico City-based Grupo Modelo U.S. beer business acquisition, the company recorded a $1.6 billion non-cash gain on the re-measurement to fair value of the company’s original 50 percent interest in Crown Imports LLC, Chicago. In addition, the consolidation garnered $763 million of incremental net sales, boosting overall consolidated net sales for the quarter.
According to New York-based Nielsen, pumpkin-flavored seasonal foods and beverages are appearing on store shelves and menus earlier this fall than in previous years. This early arrival might set the seasonal flavor up for another successful season, it suggests.
