Imbera’s quality of service, global presence, as well as standard bearing technology and innovations were just some of the reasons it was chosen to receive this year’s Most Valuable Supplier award at the Partnerships for Sustainable Business Success event, hosted by Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co. on April 17 in Atlanta, according to Imbera.

Made of Type 316 stainless steel wetter parts polished to a 150-grit finish, the table-top unit features a dust- and fluid-spray-resistant enclosure, color touch-screen controls that display speed, percent of load, batch time and temperature, and an electronic push-button lift.

Naperville, Ill.-based World Packaging Organization (WPO) signed an agreement with Italy-based Ipack-Ima S.p.A. to support and promote the exhibitions at East Afripack, which will take place Sept. 9-12, 2014, in Kenya, and Ipack-Ima, which will take place May 19-23, 2015, in Italy. In return, WPO will have an institutional booth at both shows and will appoint a representative in the Steering Committee of East Afripack 2014. The WPO also will host the WorldStar Ceremony at Ipack-Ima.
