Hoffman Estates, Ill.-based Bosch Rexroth Corp.’s service automation business unit has introduced the Genuine Rexroth program. The program provides expertise in parts, repairs, service and training. Portola Packaging Inc., San Jose, Calif., has completed a licensing agreement with Midbrook Inc. for the production, marketing and sale of Portola's Cap Snap Water Equipment. Midbrook, with manufacturing locations in Jackson, Mich., and Sao Paulo, Brazil, is a manufacturer of metal parts, washing and drying equipment, and robotic and conveying systems.

FKI Logistex has been awarded a contract valued in excess of $24 million for a bulk- and tray-mail sorting and distribution system at the United States Postal Service (USPS) International Service Center located at John F. Kennedy International Airport, Queens, N.Y.

Wentworth Mold Inc., Grain Valley, Mo., recently opened a facility in Poland to manufacture SuperCell for PET shell blowmolds. Equipped with the latest CNC 5-axis machining centers and CNC lathes, the facility is in Poniatowa, Poland.
Owens-Illinois Inc., Toledo, Ohio, recently sold its blowmolded plastic container operations in North America, South America and Europe to Graham Packaging Co., a division of the Blackstone Group.

Clarcor Inc. recently formed the Purolator Advanced Filtration Group, which is headquartered in Greensboro, N.C. ID Technology, Fort Worth, Texas, has signed on as exclusive U.S. distributor for the Electronic Printing Development (EPD) line of Thermal Transfer Overprinters.
Rexam plc, London, recently acquired the 40 percent shareholding it does not own in the Chinese beverage can business, Rexam Beverage Can Zhao Qing, from its joint venture partner, Hua Xing Investment Ltd.
Ball Corp., Broomfield, Colo., has converted a 12-ounce beverage can line to a 24-ounce can line in its Golden, Colo.-based facility. The $12.5 million conversion will be complete during the second quarter of next year.
PBM Plastics Inc., Newport News, Va., was recently audited by Shuster Laboratories.  The audit results showed that PBM Plastics demonstrated sufficient manufacturing capability and quality control systems to consistently produce high quality baby bottle liners as specified by the retail drug store chain.
