New company, Digitalabel, Durham, N.C., has launched nationally its services for digitally printed labels for customized, short-run and prototype packaging products.
FKI Logistex opened its new Technology and Education Center in Cincinnati.
Fort Dearborn Co., Elk Grove, Ill., acquired Renaissance Mark, which specializes in cut-and-stack labels and specialty finishing options.
Jungheinrich, Hamburg, Germany, presented findings from its research into methanol fuel cells for electric lift trucks at the Hannover Messe Trade Fair in Germany. The research sought to determine whether direct methanol fuel cells would be technically and economically feasible as a drive concept for industrial trucks.
Magline, Pinconning, Mich., shared the results of its merchandising study, which found merchandisers can save an average of 8.3 hours per week by using their own material handling equipment.
R.A. Jones & Co. Inc., Covington, Ky., opened its sales and service center in Mexico. The office will handle all parts, service and equipment needs for the country and will be managed by José Edmundo Romo.
Raymond Corp., Greene, N.Y., announced its newly redesigned Web site, raymondcorp.com, now features user-friendly calculators, pre-owned vehicle inventory, expert resources and real-time technical training listings.
SATO America, Charlotte, N.C., signed a strategic alliance agreement with Ship2Save, a Canadian RFID systems integrator. As part of the partnership, multiple SATO products will be included in Ship2Save’s flagship applications.
