Chuck Smith, senior vice president of trade relations for Pernod Ricard USA, will retire, effective July 15. Smith joined Pernod Ricard in 1999 as senior vice president of sales for the former Austin Nichols Inc.
Jim Evans, senior vice president of sales, said: "As a member of the PRUSA executive committee, Chuck has helped to deliver strong business results, while using his extensive industry knowledge to benefit our company and the industry. Whether working on strategic development initiatives with distributors, trade organizations, or as a member of our responsibility committee, Chuck leads by example, and has earned respect throughout the industry. While I am happy for Chuck as he heads into retirement, I know that his leadership and dedication will be missed.”
