Vending In Philly Goes Cashless

The Philadelphia Coca-Cola Bottling Co. has teamed with MasterCard International and USA Technologies to roll out 1,000 Coca-Cola vending machines with e-port chashless transaction capabilities using MasterCard PayPass. The vending machines will accept PayPass and traditional metallic stripe credit and debit cards. The rollout follows trials in Atlanta and New York City and is said to be the largest deployment of contactless vending technology in the United States.
