April 8, 2014

Oxnard, Calif.-based KeVita Inc.’s same-named sparkling probiotic drinks brand announced its official sponsorship of the 2014 Buzz Bus Tour. Stopping in cities both big and small, the Buzz Bus Tour visits festivals, wellness centers, schools, farmers markets, parks and other locations to offer people access to healthy products, fitness classes and wellness education.

“We’re thrilled to be supporting a team so dedicated to elevating the nation’s overall health,” said KeVita Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Bill Moses in a statement. “At KeVita, we’re big advocates of the idea that even small, healthy lifestyle changes can have an exponential impact on overall wellness.”

KeVita Sparkling Probiotic Drinks offer the added health benefits of probiotics, which support immune and digestive health and maximize the body’s nutrient and vitamin absorption, the company says. All of KeVita’s 12 varieties feature four strains of live probiotics and are low-calorie, certified organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan, it says.

The brand will offer samples of these low-calorie, sparkling functional beverages during the Buzz Bus Tour as it travels across the western United States through October. The journey this year will span 12,000 miles, making stops at outdoor festivals and wellness events including Coachella, Wanderlust Festivals and Yoga Journal Live and visiting a variety of cities in Texas, Arizona, California, Oregon, Idaho, Colorado, Nevada and Utah.

“We want people to understand there are multiple ways to lead a more active and healthy life,” said Buzz Bus Tour Founder Kristi Konieczny in a statement. “KeVita is a delicious and functional beverage with a myriad of health benefits, making them a wonderful partner on our quest to encourage overall wellness. We’re so excited to be able to provide samples of KeVita as we visit so many unique and innovative places that are working really hard to provide their communities with opportunities to lead more active and happy lives.”
