March 18, 2014

Cheribundi Inc., Boulder, Colo., announced that two of its top-selling Fruit Refresh blends, Lemonade Refresh and Cranberry Refresh, now are available in 2,100 Walmart locations. These products will be merchandised in the juice aisle.

“Wal-Mart is dedicated to selling high-quality products to their customers at prices they can afford,” said Cheribundi Chief Executive Officer Brian Ross in a statement. “We are excited to join one of America’s largest retailers and have the opportunity to introduce Cheribundi Fruit Refresh to their loyal shoppers.”

This new deal adds to the existing 12,000 grocery, drug, natural and specialty retailers, including Kroger, Rite Aid, Whole Foods Market, Sprouts and The Fresh Market, that already carry Cheribundi tart cherry juice drinks. Cheribundi products also are available on www.cheribundi.com and through www.amazon.com.

In addition to Lemonade Refresh and Cranberry Refresh, the Cheribundi portfolio features five total Fruit Refresh blends, four Tea Refresh blends, two organic frozen puree smoothie packs, and five functional tart cherry juices. Cheribundi is a fresh-pressed tart cherry juice made from a proprietary juicing process developed by scientists at Cornell University to yield peak antioxidant levels.
