Coca Cola accrues most social media impressions in the world

 In the month of July, The Coca-Cola Co.’s Coke brand accrued the most social media impressions in the world, according to a report by PQ Media and uberVU. At more than 1.4 billion impressions, Coke nearly doubled the impressions earned by Apple, which ranked No. 2 on the list. Other beverage brands in the Top 10 include Starbucks, which came in at No. 6 with 382 million impressions, and Sprite, which landed at No. 8 on the list with 302 million impressions. The beverage category as a whole earned 2.4 billion social media impressions. The uberVU Leading Social Brand Report provides monthly tracking of social media conversations for leading brands by product category. This report used real-time data for the month of July to rank the Top 100 social brands and Top 10 product categories by social media impressions.
