New Leaf to host social media forum for international business leaders

New Leaf Brands Inc., Old Tappan, N.J., will host delegates from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Special American Business Internship Training Group, which offers business leaders from Europe and Asia a short-term technical assistance program focused on the beverage industry through Sept. 25.

Participants will gain an understanding of the techniques, standards, business management and marketing strategies of the non-alcohol and non-dairy beverage industry in the United States, the company says. On Sept. 7, New Leaf will host a social media forum to show participants how the sites can benefit a brand or company.

“Because it is our goal to be a global brand, it is important to us that we continue to foster positive international relationships,” said Eric Skae, New Leaf’s president and chief executive officer, in a statement. “We are honored that the U.S. Department of Commerce has chosen New Leaf to represent the U.S. in this program and educate these international industry leaders on social media marketing strategies.”
