New Leaf Brands Inc., Old Tappan, N.J., will host delegates
from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Special American Business Internship
Training Group, which offers business leaders from Europe and Asia
a short-term technical assistance program focused on the beverage industry through
Sept. 25.
Participants will gain an understanding of the techniques,
standards, business management and marketing strategies of the non-alcohol and
non-dairy beverage industry in the United States, the company says. On
Sept. 7, New Leaf will host a social media forum to show participants how the sites
can benefit a brand or company.
“Because it is our goal to be a global brand, it is
important to us that we continue to foster positive international
relationships,” said Eric Skae, New Leaf’s president and chief executive
officer, in a statement. “We are honored that the U.S. Department of Commerce
has chosen New Leaf to represent the U.S. in this program and educate
these international industry leaders on social media marketing strategies.”
