Pernod Ricard USA’s Malibu Caribbean Rum brand introduced Malibu Cocktails, a line of premixed drinks packaged in 1.75-liter flexible plastic pouches. The line will launch July 1 in Rum Punch, Caribbean Cosmo and Tropical Mojito flavors. Malibu Rum Punch contains a blend of Malibu Coconut rum, pineapple, banana, passion fruit and mango flavors. With a blend of Malibu Coconut rum, lime orange and cranberry flavors, Malibu Caribbean Cosmo is a twist on the classic cosmopolitan cocktail. Malibu Tropical Mojito includes Malibu Coconut rum with mango, mint and kaffir lime flavors. The flexible pouch allows for portability for summer gatherings, quicker chilling and features a dispenser nozzle to keep the product fresh once opened, the company says. The pouches will be available nationally next month and have a suggested retail price of $19.99 per 1.75-liter pouch.
