Lifeway BioKefir shots



Lifeway Foods launched a new line of 3.5-ounce BioKefir shots specifically designed to support immunity, heart health and digestion. Lifeway BioKefir shots contain enhanced kefir and are sold in four-packs that are available in five flavors. BioKefir for Immunity is available in Pomegranate-Blueberry and Kiwi-Passion Fruit varieties and contains 100 percent of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s recommended daily value of vitamin C, the company says. Available in Blackberry and Black Cherry, BioKefir for Heart Health contains grape concentrate, pomegranate, apple and green tea extracts for free radical fighting, the company says. BioKefir for Digestion is available in Vanilla and includes Lifeway’s exclusive probiotic formula to soothe digestive ailments. All BioKefir shots contain Lifeway’s ProBoost blend of 12 live and active probiotic cultures with more than 20 billion units of live and active probiotic activity in every 3.5-ounce shot, the company says. BioKefir shots will be available at Whole Foods Markets nationwide for $3.49 to $3.79 per four-pack and in other retailers for $4.49 to $4.79 per four-pack.
