Boston-based Harpoon Brewery and Dunkin’, Canton, Mass., are at it again, launching a series of new coffee- and doughnut-infused beers for fall. A trio of new beers, Harpoon Dunkin’ Pumpkin Spiced Latte Ale, Boston Kreme Stout, and Jelly Donut IPA, join Harpoon Dunkin’ Coffee Porter on shelves this September and mark the first time beers have been brewed with actual doughnuts from Dunkin’, the companies say.

Bend, Ore.-based Deschutes Brewery recently embarked on a new endeavor to create a high-quality non-alcohol beer that rivals the experience of a full-strength craft beer. The result is Deschutes’ alcohol-free Irish Stout, a traditional Irish-style stout with coffee-like roasted malt character, light chocolate and a dry, light-bodied drinking experience.
Despite regulatory challenges, the use of THC in beverages is seeing a slight uptick. Nielsen suggests that consumers often turn to marijuana products because it doesn’t cause a hangover and is low- or zero-calorie.
