Built to reflect how people drink water today, the new hydration platform from Purchase, N.Y.-based PepsiCo Inc. is a connected ecosystem that responds to the rise in consumption of low-and-no-sugar drinks as well as heightened focus on plastic's effect on the environment. As part of PepsiCo's Beyond the Bottle efforts, the new system makes it easier for people to stay hydrated, digitally track their hydration, and help meet the growing consumer demand for more sustainable packaging, the company says.
PepsiCo launched Hello Goodness, a fleet of self-driving robots that contain snacks and beverages for college students. Rapper Pusha-T and 1800 Tequila launched a new recording and artist discovery platform. Pizza Hut announced it will continue to expand its category-first beer delivery program.
Pepsi, a brand of Purchase, N.Y.-based PepsiCo, announced its new 360-degree Super Bowl LIII campaign, complete with its halftime show and lead-in, Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year announcement, local Atlanta activations, consumer giveaways and more.
The transaction is another step in PepsiCo’s Performance with Purpose journey, supporting health and wellness through environmentally friendly, cost-effective and fun-to-use beverage solutions, and the company’s Beyond the Bottle strategy to form a more sustainable beverage ecosystem, it says.
Purchase, N.Y.-based PepsiCo released its limited-time snack and beverage offerings for the holiday season. New holiday products this year include Mnt Dew Merry Mash-Up, Mtn Dew Ice Cherry, Pure Leaf Apple Cider Flavored Iced Tea and the bubly holiday pack available online, the company says. Returning this year is the Starbucks Peppermint Mocha ready-to-drink (RTD) Iced Latte.
Emerging food and beverage brands to participate in optimization program

PepsiCo Inc., Purchase, N.Y., announced the 10 emerging food and beverage brands that will join its first collaborative accelerator program in North America. Each of the 10 participating startups will receive $20,000 in grant funding and participate in a six-month business optimization program. The Nutrition Greenhouse program is designed to accelerate the growth of these startups with personalized mentorship from experts at some of PepsiCo's leading and emerging brands.
