After being out for the past few weeks on maternity leave, I am happy to be back at Beverage Industry. The birth of my first child definitely was a time for celebration in our family. However, I still was too exhausted to join in the festivities.
Remember when nothing said summer like sitting on Grandma's porch and sipping a tall glass of ice-cold lemonade? The pure sourness and simple ingredients made taste buds dance.

Campbell’s V8 Vegetable and Fruit Juices claims 59 percent of votes

In line with consumers’ interest with health and wellness products as well as vegetable flavors, Camden, N.J.-based Campbell Soup Co. introduced in January its new line of V8 Vegetable and Fruit Juice beverages. This month, Beverage Industry readers have shown that they agree that this new product release was on point by voting the product line Beverage Industry’s Readers’ Choice New Product of the Month for March.
The 35th annual Natural Products Expo West tradeshow, which took place March 6-8 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif., boasted an attendance increase of 7.2 present, bringing together more 71,000 industry members, more than 2,700 exhibiting companies, and 634 first-time exhibitors.

Although it might not look it outside, if you are in the Midwest or Northeast, summer isn’t too far away. Following last year’s launch of Sprite 6 Mix by LeBron James, the brand of Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co. and the NBA superstar have given the limited-edition flavor a new look and a new name: Sprite LeBron’s Mix.
