PepsiCo, Purchase, N.Y., and Ocean Spray Cranberries Inc., Lakeville, Mass., formed a strategic alliance in Latin America. As part of the alliance, PepsiCo will have exclusive rights to manufacture and distribute a portfolio of cranberry- and blueberry-based beverages through its Latin America Beverages division.

Lakeville-Middleboro, Mass.-based Ocean Spray North America launched two new variations of its flagship cranberry juice cocktail: Ocean Spray Low Tart Cranberry Juice Cocktail and Ocean Spray 2/3 Less Sugar Cranberry Juice Cocktail. Both juice drinks pair the health benefits of cranberry with the great taste consumers have come to expect from Ocean Spray, the company says.

Ocean Spray Cranberries Inc. merged its cranberry juice with lemonade to create Ocean Spray Cran-Lemonade and Diet Cran-Lemonade juice drinks.
