Honest Tea introduced Honest CocoaNova, a line of low-calorie beverages made with brewed cacao beans. Honest CocoaNova is available in Mint Cacao, Cherry Cacao and Mocha Cacao varieties. The beverages are made with U.S. Department of Agriculture and Fair Trade Certified cacao beans, which are the main ingredient in chocolate, and include the antioxidants and theobromine found in dark chocolate. Honest CocoaNova varieties contain 50 calories and 13 grams of organic cane sugar in each 10-ounce bottle. Mocha Cacao contains 9 mg. of caffeine in a 10-ounce bottle, while Mint Cacao and Cherry Cacao contain trace amounts of caffeine, the company says. The line is available starting this month in select natural foods stores for $1.99 for each 10-ounce bottle.
