MoreDr Pepper Snapple Group (DPS), Plano, Texas, announced its partnership with KaBOOM! – a national non-profit dedicated to saving play. The DPS partnership with KaBOOM! will result in 10 new playgrounds in cities, including Los Angeles; Houston; Detroit; Indianapolis; Columbus, Ohio; Rogers, Ark.; Waco, Texas; Victorville, Calif.; and Jacksonville, Fla.

"Because play is so important for ensuring the next generation is healthy and fit, we're expanding our partnership with KaBOOM! this year to ensure more families nationwide have great places to play."

In support of the partnership, the company's Mott's brand will sponsor the second annual "KaBOOM! Play Days" from Sept. 18-26. KaBOOM! Play Days presented by Mott's encourages communities to come together for fun activities and to improve local parks and playgrounds.
DPS and KaBOOM! are both supporters of First Lady Michelle Obama's "Let's Move" initiative.
