Bossa Nova, a division of The Sunny Delight Beverages Co., added Organic Acai Pomegranate to its line of superfruit juice beverages. The beverage combines two antioxidant sources – acai and pomegranate – into one beverage. The company’s acai berries are picked by hand at the peak of ripeness from sustainably grown acai palm trees in the Brazilian Amazon rainforest. Acai is combined with tart pomegranate and is lightly sweetened with organic agave nectar for the Organic Acai Pomegranate juice. Bossa Nova’s newest variety will begin a gradual nationwide rollout in May, beginning with select retailers in Boston, and will be available for $2.99.
