All 50 states to host Craft Beer Week events

For the first time in its six year history, American Craft Beer Week events will be hosted in all 50 states. Nationwide events make this year’s American Craft Beer Week the largest ever celebration of U.S. craft brewers, according to the Brewers Association, Boulder, Colo.

“There’s no doubt about it — nationally, appreciation for craft brewing has reached new heights of popularity,” said Julia Herz, a spokesperson for the Brewers Association, in a statement. “With celebrations in all 50 states, American Craft Beer Week has truly earned the title ‘Mother of All Beer Weeks.’”

From May 16-22, brewers, retailers and special events will host programs focusing on craft beer. Beer lovers will have the opportunity to discover new beer, including special releases and collaboration beers, as well as attend events, such as beer dinners, brewery tours and festivals. The Brewers Association has organized American Craft Beer related events into a calendar on www.craftbeer.com.
