In celebration of National Hot Cocoa Day on Dec. 13, Keurig Green Mountain Inc., Waterbury, Vt., and Swiss Miss, a brand of Chicago, Ill.-based ConAgra Brands Inc., are introducing two new varieties of Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa K-Cup pods.

New limited-edition Swiss Miss Peppermint Hot Cocoa mix K-Cup pods offer a cool blend of peppermint and creamy chocolate, the company says. For those interested in the same great taste of original Swiss Miss cocoa with less calories and sugar, Swiss Miss Sensible Sweets Light Hot Cocoa mix K-Cup Pods were added. These new flavors join the classic Swiss Miss Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa mix K-Cup pods.

First introduced in grocery stores in 1959, Swiss Miss hot cocoa is made with care in a real dairy where fresh milk from local farms is delivered daily, dried and blended with premium, imported cocoa, it says. Keurig has been delivering this same warmth and comfort in a K-Cup pod format to consumers since this first Swiss Miss K-Cup pod was introduced in 2011, it adds.

Swiss Miss Peppermint Hot Cocoa and Swiss Miss Sensible Sweets Light Hot Cocoa are available for a limited time in 16-count boxes of K-Cup pods for the Keurig brewing system at select retail stores and online through www.Keurig.com. A box of each variety will retail for a suggested retail price of $11.99, online and in-store.
