Sparta, Mich.-based Old Orchard Brands expanded its 100% Juice line with the release of Black Cherry Cranberry and Mango Tangerine varieties.

The new varieties appear in grocery stores nationwide this month in 64-ounce bottles. The suggested retail price is $2.99 a bottle.

Echoing sentiments of the newly-published dietary guidelines from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion, Amy Bragagnini, health expert and Old Orchard consultant, recommends working toward increasing your fruit and vegetable intake.

"Fresh fruits and vegetables are a key part of any healthy diet," Bragagnini said in a statement. "However, fresh produce requires preparation time that may persuade some to opt for a more convenient breakfast bar or other sugar-rich snacks. Instead, I recommend balancing fresh produce with the convenience of 100 percent juice that offers many of the same benefits but with the convenience that a shelf-stable, ready-to-drink juice offers."

Black Cherry Cranberry and Mango Tangerine join Old Orchard's existing 100% Juice line consisting of 17 flavors that include traditional Apple and Orange varieties as well as blends like Acai Pomegranate and Kiwi Strawberry. Each eight-ounce glass provides 120 percent of the daily recommended value of vitamin C and counts as two fruit servings. The line offers real fruit nutrition and no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.

"At Old Orchard Brands, we like to be at the forefront of flavor innovation," said Mark Saur, founder and chief executive officer of Old Orchard Brands, in a statement. "Our juice fans love our 100% Juices because they offer real fruit nutrition and a variety of delicious flavors. We look forward to offering two new flavors that we believe families will fall in love with."
