Samuel Adams, a brand of The Boston Beer Co., introduced two new craft beers to its Rebel IPA family: Rebel Rouser Double IPA and Rebel Rider Session IPA. Rebel Rouser Double IPA, at 8.4 percent alcohol by volume and with 85 international bittering units, is brewed using a blend of more than 5 pounds of hops in each barrel to showcase  flavors notes of pine, citrus, floral and spice, which are accented by a pale malt blend to achieve higher alcohol content, the company says. The brew is available on draft and in six- and 12-packs. Rebel Rider Session IPA is brewed with Citra, Topaz and Cascade hops and is dry-hopped with a variety of other West Coast hops to provide medium notes of citrus, floral, pine, spicy and grapefruit, the company says. This product is available on draft and in six-packs.
