Waiakea Water releases inaugural commercial

Bottled water brand celebrates second anniversary

In celebration of its second anniversary, Waiakea Water has released its inaugural commercial. The roughly 1-minute commercial offers an informational approach about the brand’s natural filtration process through an active volcano.

 

 

The snowcapped peak of the active Mauna Loa volcano provides the water for Waiakea by naturally filtering it through 14,000 feet of porous lava. Waiakea water also is naturally enhanced with minerals and electrolytes and has a natural pH of 8.8.

The company also utilizes a number of sustainable and charitable practices. Waiakea is certified CarbonNeutral and is packaged in a high-grade BPE-free bottle made of 100 percent post-consumer recycled material. The package also requires s 85 percent less energy and 90 percent less water to manufacture, which reduces the company’s carbon emissions by more than 90 percent, it says.

The company also donates 650 liters of water for every liter of Waiakea sold through www.pumpaid.com. Currently, 140 million liters have been donated, the company says.
