Milton, Del.-based craft brewer Dogfish Head announced a “liquid and solid” partnership with Woolrich, Pa.-based American clothing maker Woolrich for a new craft beer.

The Woolrich + Dogfish Head beer, dubbed Pennsylvania Tuxedo, was brewed with spruce tips from the Pennsylvania town. Named after the red-and-black wool outfits that woodsmen wear in Pennsylvania, New England and beyond, the 4.5 percent alcohol by volume rye pale ale will debut on cask at Analog-A-Go-Go, the craft brewer’s annual vinyl swap and cask beer festival, which will take place June 13 and 14 at both the company’s brewery and brewpub this year. After that, the brew will be available for a limited time at Dogfish Head’s Rehoboth Beach brewpub.

On the solid side of the partnership, the two companies created a Made-in-the-USA, nautical-inspired capsule clothing collection. Available at Analog, and, starting June 16, on Dogfish Head’s website and shop in Milton, Del., the collection includes a classic chambray men's button-down shirt, a long women's beach coverup, a 100 percent soft wool throw blanket, a beach hat, and a wool koozie.

Dogfish Head plans to release a second collaboration craft beer at Analog. In partnership with Oakland, Calif.-based wilderness fragrance distillery Juniper Ridge, the craft brewer created Desert Sage Bravo. The 5 percent alcohol by volume American wheat beer is brewed with all bravo hops as well as white sage and wild mint tea from Juniper Ridge. It also has big notes of sage brush, dried juniper and wild mint in the nose, which give way to a clean wheat malt middle in the flavor with a long woody and minty finish that lingers on the tongue, the company says.

“At Dogfish Head, we love roaming throughout Mother Nature to find inspiring ingredients for our beers,” said Dogfish Head Founder and President Sam Calagione, in a statement. “We believe there’s a great overlap between our approach and Juniper Ridge’s. Their products inspire us, and we’re excited to combine forces on this beer.”
