Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co.’s Diet Coke brand is moving into the frozen beverage segment with its new Diet Coke Frost beverage. The low-calorie, cherry-flavored, frozen carbonated soft drink (CSD) marks the brand’s first foray into the frozen beverage segment in its 31-year history, the company says.

Each 20-ounce serving of the slushy contains 30 calories and 12 grams of carbohydrates, the company notes.
Currently, Diet Coke Frost is available as a Slurpee exclusively at 7-Eleven locations nationwide. . At the end of May, Diet Coke Frost will expand its availability into frozen carbonated beverage machines at other retailers across the country.

Nancy Smith, senior vice president of fresh foods and proprietary beverages at Dallas-based 7-Eleven, added in a statement: “Customers turn to 7-Eleven for our iconic Slurpee beverages, which is how America can first experience Diet Coke Frost. In addition to exclusively carrying the Diet Coke Frost beverage, we’re also offering fans a coupon to try it for free from our 7-Eleven app.”
