Hangover Joe’s to launch Git-R-Done Energy shot

Non-caffeinated, all-natural energy shot will debut this summer

Git-R-Done Energy shotHangover Joe’s Holding Corp., Highland Ranch, Colo., signed a licensing deal with Git-R-Done Productions Inc. to launch a new, non-caffeinated, all-natural energy shot featuring Larry the Cable Guy. Git-R-Done Energy shots contain astaxanthin, B vitamins, green tea, ginseng, guarana, ginkgo biloba, yerba mate, D-ribose, antioxidants and other ingredients to help fight fatigue and build energy, strength and wellness, according to the company.

“Larry the Cable Guy has a massive following in the United States and Canada, and this will help us in marketing the brand,” Co-Founder Shawn Adamson said in a statement. “… Git-R-Done Energy is really going to help the company grow, and this is the perfect product to have as a brand extension for Hangover Joe's.”

Hangover Joe’s Holding Corp. originally launched The Hangover Recovery Shots in 2011. Therefore, the company already has the distribution channels in place to get its new energy shot out in the marketplace quite rapidly, Adamson said. Plus, its direct-store distribution (DSD) system can deliver it across the United States, he added.

Chief Executive Officer Matthew Veal added: “We are so happy to sign this deal with Larry, and we are excited to get this product, which we believe not only tastes good but is good for you as well, out of the science lab and onto store counters soon. What makes this shot so different from other energy shots is that it is all-natural and non-caffeinated. This is a major step forward for our company, and we believe that forming a relationship with Larry the Cable Guy will help us reach millions of new consumers.”

Git-R-Done Energy is slated to launch at U.S. retailers nationwide this summer, the company says. A 2-ounce shot will have a suggested retail price between $2.99 and $3.49.
