Celestial Seasonings launches ‘From Me To You’ holiday promotion

Tea brand invites fans to send free samples of holiday teas to friends

November 5, 2013

Lake Success, N.Y.-based The Hain Celestial Group Inc.’s Celestial Seasonings brand is helping 25,000 fans spread holiday cheer with its holiday teas. Through the Celestial Seasonings Facebook page, fans can surprise a friend or loved one anywhere in the country with a special delivery of Celestial Seasonings holiday teas as part of the brand’s “From Me To You” promotion.

“Our holiday teas have become a whimsical, festive staple in so many households since we first introduced Nutcracker Sweet black tea in 1995,” said Jennifer Stolte, senior director of marketing at Celestial Seasonings, in a statement. “Each holiday season, our fans tell us how much delight our holiday teas bring them. So, we came up with a way to help our fans send a little holiday magic in the mail to the people they care about, all for free.”

The Celestial Seasonings brand offers six handcrafted, all-natural holiday teas that capture the traditional flavors of the season, including gingerbread, sugar cookies, candy canes and more.

The Celestial Seasonings team also developed new drink recipes, including Candy Cane Lane cocoa, Nutcracker Sweet latte and Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride martini, which all feature holiday teas.

To send a holiday tea delivery, fans can visit the Celestial Seasonings Facebook page from Nov. 4 through Nov. 18 and click on “From Me to You.” Each day, 1,500 samples will be given away through the Facebook application, and more will be distributed by partner weblogs. Once the daily samples run out, fans will be able to send a downloadable coupon for holiday tea savings anywhere Celestial Seasonings teas are sold in retail stores.
