Whenever I return from vacation, I always crave the food and beverages I enjoyed during my travels and wish I could bring them home with me. While preparing this month’s Category Focus article on coffee, I found one coffee company that is giving consumers the chance to do just that.

In February, Tampa, Fla.-based Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co.  entered into a long-term strategic alliance with The Walt Disney Co., Burbank, Calif., extending the relationship the duo began cultivating in 1995. As part of the partnership, Joffrey’s became the official specialty coffee of the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif., and Disney Vacation Club properties across the country, enabling the coffee brand to reach a new global audience.

As a result, consumers now can enjoy specialty Joffrey’s coffee blends developed specifically for this Disney partnership by picking up a cup at Joffrey’s locations, quick-service restaurants and fine dining restaurants on Disney properties or enjoying them as part of room service or in-room coffee service at select Disney hotels, Joffrey’s says.

But these tastes of vacation don’t stop there. Select Disneyland and Walt Disney World resorts offer Joffrey’s coffee in Disney Resort Collection catalogs so that fans can order some to bring home with them. And, if they return home and realize they’re still craving the specialty blends, Joffrey’s is working to develop an exclusive online catalog featuring all of the signature coffees created especially for the Disney resorts and signature restaurants, according to Ted Abrams, Joffrey’s president and chief executive officer.

“We hope that, after experiencing our coffee, Disney guests will take a little piece of their vacations home with them and reminisce about their experiences while back at home enjoying our coffee,” Abrams says.
