Phillips Distilling Co. added Prairie Organic Gin and Prairie Cucumber Flavored Organic Vodka to its portfolio of spirits. Prairie Organic Gin is handcrafted with a blend of coriander, angelica, lemon, cassia and juniper flavors, while Prairie Cucumber Flavored Organic Vodka is handcrafted from a blend of cucumber essential oils and Prairie Organic Vodka, the company says. Both spirits are the result of a partnership between Phillips Distilling and a co-op of more than 900 Minnesota farmers, who are all stakeholders in the Prairie Organic brand and are responsible for growing the yellow corn from which the spirits are made. A 750-ml bottle has a suggested retail price of $19.99.
