New York-based Pernod Ricard USA announced a reorganization and expansion of its spirits marketing team, effective July 1. The revamped group is designed to further enhance the existing momentum behind the company’s key spirits brands while capitalizing on key growth drivers such as innovation, multicultural marketing and digital media, the company says.
The team will be led by Pierre Berard, who joins Pernod Ricard USA from Pernod Ricard China, where he served as director of marketing.
Bryan Fry, president and chief executive officer of Pernod Ricard USA, said in a statement that the expanded marketing team “will reinforce our two greatest assets — our brands and people — by ensuring that we have the right resources, organized in the right way, to continue to build outstanding, desirable, premium spirits brands and achieve our strong growth objectives.”
Berard added that he is confident that the enhanced team — which will include new appointees from both inside and outside the company and industry — will position Pernod Ricard USA for continued good performance. “Our success is based not only on our exceptional portfolio of leading premium brands but also on the leadership ambition shared by our passionate, creative and diverse team,” Berard said in a statement. “When you add in the quality of our leaders and Pernod Ricard’s strong reputation for demonstrating our values — entrepreneurship, mutual trust and a strong sense of ethics — in everything we do, it’s clear that our expanded marketing organization will be a great place to work.”
