Pepsi Next pushes trial with ‘Wheel of Levy’ promotion

Purchase, N.Y.-based PepsiCo’s Pepsi Next brand partnered with actor William Levy to debut the "Wheel of Levy" promotion. This is the brand's latest mission to get America to “Drink it to believe it,” referring to the product’s real cola taste with 60 percent less sugar, the company says. The actor portrays six versatile personas all in hot pursuit of one united goal: to get America to try a Pepsi Next for free.

"I'm excited to show fans a few unexpected sides of myself to help quench their thirst for a great-tasting cola with less sugar," Levy said in a statement. "Whether it's rocking out or fighting bad guys, I'm giving it my all to ensure you won't be able to resist the unbelievable taste of Pepsi Next."

Fans can visit www.wheeloflevy.com to watch the videos in English or Spanish and spin the "Wheel of Levy" to decide which version of Levy — "Doctor Levy," "Romance Levy," "Action Hero Levy," "Rock Star Levy," "Sci-Fi Levy" or "Theatre Levy" — convinces them to register to receive a 2-liter bottle of Pepsi Next. Then, they are invited to share their favorite Levy persona via social media.
