Black Rock Spirits launched Sparkle Donkey Silver and Reposado 100 percent blue agave tequilas. The spirits are made in small batches in Tequila, Mexico, using specially selected high-sugar Blue Weber agave, traditional brick oven roasting and pure volcanic spring water. The company pokes fun at the short history of the brand, directing consumers’ attention to the quality of the product. Sparkle Donkey Tequilas are available in Washington state, and will expand to other select states soon, the company says. Prices vary by state, but the company expects the products to retail in the low- to mid-$20 range.
