Abbott Nutrition, a division of Abbott, launched a line of nutritional drinks formulated for children with picky eating habits, it says. In each 6.8-ounce serving, PediaSure SideKicks Clear drinks provide as much protein as one large egg, as much vitamin D as a 6-ounce cup of yogurt, and as much vitamin A as a half cup of zucchini, the company says. Available in Tropical Fruit and Berry flavors, each variety contains 120 calories and 19 essential vitamins and minerals, including three essential antioxidants. Plus, the clear formulation ensures that there won’t be any stains if it is spilled, it adds. An eight-pack of 6.8-ounce cartons has a suggested retail price of $10.99.
