Owned by Halewood International Ltd. and imported by St. Killian Importing Co., Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer launched in select markets in the United States. The beer is made using a traditional process and remains true to the same recipe that was used when it was first crafted in 1801, the company says. Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer is described as a zesty drink made from a base of four proprietary ingredients that are steeped for six weeks with real ginger sourced from the Far East, then carefully blended and bottled, it adds. Containing 4.8 percent alcohol by volume, a 16.9-ounce bottle retails for approximately $3.99 and a four-pack of 11.2-ounce bottles retails for approximately $9.99.
