Be Active TeasThe Republic of Tea launched its Be Active Teas collection, featuring five organic green rooibos-based teas designed to help with refreshment and recovery as well as increased endurance, flexibility and metabolism. Get Hydrated Herb Tea for Refreshment blends tea with hibiscus flowers, sweet dates, New Zealand black currant extract and rosehips to create a tea full of antioxidants and electrolytes. Get Restored Herb Tea for Recovery combines tea with ramon nuts, chicory root, milk thistle seeds, carob and California grape seeds to help rebalance acidity and increase oxygenation. Get Active Herb Tea for Endurance blends tea with holy basil, licorice, maca root and acerola berries to help increase energy, stamina and endurance during and after exercise, and promote resistance to stress. Get Limber Herb Tea for Flexibility combines tea with ginger root, turmeric, cat’s claw and yucca extract to help enable mobility and reduce post-exercise inflammation in muscles, ligaments and joints. Get Burning Herb Tea for Metabolism merges tea with holy basil, Cordyceps, chili pepper, cinnamon, ginger and black pepper to help increase metabolism, enhance caloric burn rate and fat oxidation, and strengthen stamina and endurance, the company says. The all-natural, caffeine-free and certified gluten-free teas are available in recyclable tins containing 36 unbleached, round tea bags. A tin has a suggested retail price of $12.
