The Patron Spirits Co. announced the first brand extension for its Patron XO Cafe coffee liqueur line. Available in the first quarter of 2012, Patron XO Cafe Dark Cocoa combines Patron Silver tequila and the essence of coffee with chocolate flavor. Distilled at 60 proof, Patron XO Cafe Dark Cocoa is characterized by its dark brown color, an aroma of fresh coffee balanced with cocoa, and a dry taste with a smooth finish, the company says. It is available in 50-ml., 375-ml. and 750-ml. frosted glass cork-closed bottles. The suggested retail price for a 750-ml. bottle is $24.99.
