BASF, Florham Park, N.J., added Brenntag Specialties Inc., South Plainfield, N.J., and Horn Co., La Mirada, Calif., as part of BASF’s human nutrition distribution network. Brenntag Specialties will serve BASF customers in the eastern United States and Canada. Customers in the western United States will work with Horn Co., the company says.

Symrise AG marked the beginning of renovations to its headquarters in Holzminden, Germany. A 10 million Euro investment, the company intends to house its research activities under one roof by October. In addition, Kaden Biochemicals, a member of Germany-based Symrise Group, announced an agreement that Carol Stream, Ill.-based Prinova USA will distribute Kaden Biochemicals’ botanical products in North America.
