Ginseng UpGinseng Up is making its U.S. debut. For 30 years, Ginseng Up has been available in the Caribbean, but will now be available in select markets in the United States. To mark this launch, Ginseng Up Corp. has introduced a new Apple flavor. Made with 96 percent real apple juice, Ginseng Up Apple is blended with a small amount of sparkling water. The beverage appeals to consumers who want a healthy drink based on pure ginseng, but with a natural fruit flavor, the company says. Ginseng is a botanical extract that is believed to boost energy, relieve stress and improve memory, it adds. In addition to the new Apple variety, the brand has 11 other flavors: Cola, Ginger, Ginger Beer, Grape, Lemon Lime, Orange, Original, Pineapple, Kola Champagne, Lemon Iced Tea and Peach Iced Tea. A 12-ounce bottle retails for $1.19 to $1.29 and a four-pack retails for $4.69 to $4.89.
