New Belgium Kick and Clutch Beers

Beer

New Belgium Brewing released two new additions to its Lips of Faith series, called Kick and Clutch. Kick is a ruby-hued, slightly sour pumpkin cranberry ale blended with wood-aged beer, the company says. A 6-ounce bottle contains 8.5 percent alcohol by volume and is a collaboration between New Belgium Founder and Chief Executive Officer Kim Jordan and Seattle-based Elysian Brewing Founder and Head Brewer Dick Cantwell. Clutch is named for the Maryland-based hard rock band with the same name. The sour stout has a taste of dark chocolate, coffee and black malts with 9 percent alcohol by volume, the company says. Both beers are available through October. Pricing varies by market.
