Oak Beverages announced the release of a summer seasonal beer from Canadian brewery Unibroue. The brewery’s Ephemere Cassis is a seasonal white ale brewed with black currant. The beer has a crisp acidity and rich black currant flavor with a hint of grape, lemon zest and tea, the company says. Unibroue’s Ephemere Cassis is bottle fermented in 750-ml. bottles and is 5.5 percent alcohol by volume. It retails for $7.99 to $8.99. Oak Beverages will offer the product in the 14 counties in New York that it represents, in addition the beer will be available in 45 states.
