Ameri-Seal Inc.
 opened a new 33,000-square-foot building at its headquarters in Chatsworth, Calif. The new building features expanded area for the company’s contract sealing division, converting area and graphics department as well as various upgrades.  
Intralox LLC, Harahan, La., opened a new commercial office in Tokyo. The new Japanese office will offer locally stationed account managers, sales engineers and marketing professionals.
The Tennant Co., Minneapolis, was recognized for its commitment to service quality at customer service measurement organization SERVICE 800’s international executive conference.
Thermo King Corp. dedicated its newly renovated research and development facility at its Minneapolis headquarters. The facility is named in honor of an instrumental figure in the founding of the company, Frederick McKinley Jones.
Zumbiel Packaging, Cincinnati, announced it began the purchase of renewable energy to offset a significant portion of its energy usage. The purchase qualifies Zumbiel Packaging as an EPA Green Power Partner and makes it one of the largest companies in the paperboard packaging industry to use renewable energy, the company says.
