Ryder System Inc., Miami, announced Ty Cross, vice president of maintenance, has been appointed to serve as chairman of the Truck Renting and Leasing Association’s Equipment Technology Advisory Council.
Safety Vision, Houston, announced that company President Bruce Smith was honored as the Small Business Administration’s Small Business Person of the Year.
Siemens Energy and Automation Inc., Atlanta, appointed Dennis Sadlowski president and chief executive officer.  He succeeds Aubert Martin who is retiring after 40 years with the company.
SleeveCo Inc., Dawsonville, Ga., promoted Martin Wilson to president of the company. The company’s owner David Johnson will remain as chief executive officer and chairman of the board.
Toyota Material Handling U.S.A. Inc., Irvine, Calif., announced several management changes, including Ron Roensch as vice president of legal, human resources and dealer development; Terry Rains as national manager for parts, service and customer satisfaction; Troy Kaiser as national manager for technical and warranty operations; and Bruce Marti as national manager of parts, service, customer satisfaction and customer service support operations.
