Tate & Lyle PLC,
London, completed the sale of Tate & Lyle Canada Ltd (Redpath) to
American Sugar Refining Inc.
The company also officially opened its Splenda
sucralose facility in Singapore. The facility, which was completed in
January, will now begin the process of ramping-up to full capacity. This is
expected to take 12 to 18 months.
Louisville, Ky., announced that Margaret
Lawson, vice president of science and
innovation, will receive the Distinguished Achievement Award from the
Southern California Institute of Food Technologists Section (SCIFTS).
