4U2U Brands LLC, Richmond, Va., added vitamin D to the list of vitamins and minerals in its Fruit 66 sparkling juice brand. The new vitamin D-fortified Fruit 66 will be available beginning this week.
 
The low-calorie sparkling juice brand, marketed to school children, now contains 10 percent of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s recommended daily allowance (RDA) of vitamin D as well as 100 percent of the RDA of vitamin C and 10 percent of the RDA of calcium and vitamin A, with 95 calories per 8-ounce serving.
