The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Los Angeles, has opened a new location at Camp Pendleton in California. The 1,500-square-foot store is the first gourmet coffee house on the Marine Base, the company says. It will be run by franchisee Bobby Azinian, who also opened the neighboring Johnny Rockets restaurant.

“We were thrilled and honored when Camp Pendleton approached us to open a store on base,” said Bob Kaufman, vice president of business development at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. “We knew Bobby Azinian would be the perfect franchisee to build and manage The Coffee Bean store, with the added bonus of being able to bring Johnny Rockets on to the base as well. We are proud to have him as a franchise developer.”
