Blue Moon Brewing Co., a subsidiary of MillerCoors’ Tenth and Blake Brewing Co., rolled out its winter seasonal beers, Blue Moon Winter Abbey Ale and Grand Cru. Winter Abbey Ale is based on Blue Moon’s previous Full Moon winter seasonal beer, but features the addition of malted white winter wheat to the recipe, the company says. The copper-colored ale is crafted with roasted malts and a hint of Belgian sugar for caramel and toffee notes, it says. Winter Abbey Ale is available in 12-ounce bottles in six- and 12-packs. The brewery also is bringing back its special-edition Blue Moon Grand Cru beer. The variety is based on the Blue Moon Belgian White recipe, but features rich, creamy notes with hints of orange peel and coriander, the company says. Grand Cru is available in 750-ml. bottles for $8.99.
