Narragansett Brewing Co. released its seasonal winter craft brew, Narragansett Porter. The beer is an American-style porter brewed with Chinook hops for bitterness, simcoe hops for aroma, black malt, pale malt, chocolate malt, munich malt, crystal malt, roasted barley and ale yeast. The beer has a mild chocolate flavor with a hint of smokiness and hops to balance out the finish, the company says. The seasonal beer will be distributed throughout New England on draught and in the company’s 16-ounce tallboy cans.
